As much as it seems like a massive inconvenience these days, there was something special about memory cards back in the day.
If there is anyone reading this that isn’t familiar with memory cards, they were basically used to save the progress of your games. You typically would insert them into a slot on the console, just above the controller port, and could take them out and bring them to your friend’s house if you wanted to!
There were many different colours and designs to choose from (Third party memory cards were the coolest designs). I really loved the transparent designs myself!
