33 Nostalgic Bubble Baths from Our 90s Childhood

So, during my usual browse through eBay looking for cool retro items, I came across an old bubble bath bottle, and it triggered a nostalgic memory for me! If you have been on my site before… You know what that means… Time to create a new page with all the bubble bath bottles that I remember from our childhood!

So let’s jump into it! If there is a bubble bath bottle that you remember, and I’ve not included it, please comment on the post or email me to let me know!

Matey Bubble Bath

Okay, so it would be completely wrong of me if I didn’t start off this page with Matey! This brand was iconic in the 80s and 90s, and I don’t know anyone who didn’t have it, or at the very least wanted it as a kid! There were a whole load of different variants too!

Disney’s Aladdin Bubble Bath

There were a whole load of Disney-themed bubble bath bottles out there, including this flying carpet bottle, the genie and the Jafar one below, too (look how insane he looks!).

The Hunchback of Notre Dame

Following on in the Disney theme for the next couple of entries is the loveable Quasimodo from Disney’s Hunchback of Notre Dame, featuring him sitting on the giant bell!

Beauty and the Beast Bubble Bath

Who could forget the his and hers Beauty and the Beast bubble bath? Poor Belle looks like she has had enough!

The Lion King Bubble Bath

The Lion King was one of the most iconic Disney films of the 90s (don’t come at me for saying that!), so it was only fitting that they had a few different variants for bubble bath too (Pumba was my favourite from the film!)

101 Dalmatians Bubble Bath

Last on our list of Disney-themed bubble bath bottles is 101 Dalmatians, featuring Pongo and some of the pups!

The Magic Roundabout Bubble Bath

Now we are moving into classic childhood Brittish TV themed bottles. First up is this nostalgic bobble featuring Florence (I think!) from The Magic Roundabout. I know the footage from this show was French, but I still consider it a British show lol.

Noddy Bubble Bath

If you didn’t grow up watching Noddy when you were wee, then you were either sheltered or are lying to me! Noddy feels like it is all over my memories from when I was a toddler!

Mr Men Bubble Bath

I very much remember the tiny little Mr Men books that we used to have as kids. My favourite was Mr Greedy! Mr Men always stuck with me as I am from Glasgow and we had Mr Happy as a mascot to try and bring in tourism back in the day with the slogan ‘Glasgow’s Miles Better’

Rosie & Jim Bubble Bath

Although the show now had a bit of a creepy conspiracy attached to it, it was still an absolute classic show that I’m sure everyone reading this remembers (if you don’t know what I mean about the conspiracy… then Google it if you want to ruin your childhood!)

Postman Pat Bubble Bath

Next up, we have our old faithful Postman Pat, unfortunately, without his black and white cat! Another show that I was obsessed with as a kid (I remember the Postman Pat ride at the shopping centre that you would put 20p in, vividly in my memory!) This bottle is absolutely terrifying mind you!

Edd the Duck Bubble Bath

I’m hoping that most of you will remember Edd the duck, the little hand puppet mascot for the BBC back in the day! I had the puppet as a kid, too!

Dennis the Menace Bubble Bath

If you were into being a wild child or simply loved reading comic books as a kid, you will be very familiar with the British bad boy Dennis the Menace!

Wallace & Gromit Bubble Bath

Wallace and Gromit was another really iconic show in the 90s (and still is today!). I remember when you had cereal toys and alarm clocks, all Wallace & Gromit themed!

Captain Scarlet Bubble Bath

I must admit that I had never watched Captain Scarlet, but I did watch Thunderbirds. I have no idea if they were connected or just looked the same. Let me know if i missed out, and i’ll give it a try!

Mr Blobby Bubble Bath

Last but not least on the iconic British bubble bath bottles is Mr Blobby, arguably the most hilarious and terrifying mascot of all time! Looking back on Mr Blobby… My god what a trip the 90s were!

Harry Potter Bubble Bath

Okay, this one is British, but it’s not really in the same category as the above bottles. I’m not sure when this one came out, but I do have that style of Harry Potter bottle in my memories somewhere (maybe it was the early 2000s)

Barbie Bubble Bath

Now we are moving onto the misc categories like toys, TV shows, films, etc. Starting off with Barbie!

Bart Simpson Bubble Bath

With the massive influence that the Simpsons had in the 90s and early 00s, it wouldn’t be right for this not to be included! Everyone loves the Simpsons (surely!?)

Biker Mice From Mars Bubble Bath

One of my favourite shows growing up was Biker Mice from Mars, although it doesn’t quite hit the same watching it today, the music and the idea of this show was just badass!

Casper Bubble Bath

Casper the Friendly Ghost was all the rage in the 90s because of the film starring Christina Ricci! The toys always seemed to have glow-in-the-dark incorporated… Let’s make that a thing again!

Sesame Street Bubble Bath

Ahh, good old Big Bird and Elmo representing Sesame Street. I’m pretty sure that there was also an Oscar the Grouch version that I had too!

Looney Tunes Bubble Bath

It’s hard to picture our childhood without the Looney Tunes being there. They were a massive part of our childhood, which seems to have just disappeared, which is sad! (Although, at least we got another Space Jam!)

My Little Pony Bubble Bath

Another iconic cartoon show that just reminds most people of the bronies these days, but I do remember that there was a compilation VHS that I had that cycled through a load of cartoon shows that included My Little Pony, Care Bears, Super Ted and Rupert the Bear… good times!

Power Rangers Bubble Bath

The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers! This cheesy show is still as good as I remember. My son started watching the show when he was about 4 years old, but he only wanted to watch the original version… Good taste!

Sonic the Hedgehog Bubble Bath

One of the most iconic video game characters of early gaming, who continues to appeal to the newer generation! Can’t beat a bit of Sonic on the MegaDrive!

Small Soldiers Bubble Bath

Unfortunately, we have come to the end of our trip down memory lane, folks, but what better bottle to finish on than Small Soldiers?! I absolutely loved this film and rewatched it not too long ago… It still holds up today as a cheesy action film, and seeing this bottle has put me in the mood to watch it again!

I hope this page brought you back some memories, and if there are any that I’ve missed, please reach out to me and let me know (I love it when someone reminds me of something that was buried away in my brain!)
