Sneak Eats Reviewed: Surprising or Overhyped? Read This First (2025)

I assume you know what Sneak EATS is, as you have found this page, but if not, Sneak Energy has moved into the meal replacement space. They boast that Sneak EATS is high in protein, low in sugar, good for your gut, and is a nutritionally complete meal replacement.

From the sounds of it, these meals have all the goodies that sneak normally offers (including the new BrainBerry), but just lacks the caffeine, so that you can still enjoy your sneak energy!

That’s all well and good, but how does Sneak EATS compare to other meal replacements and protein shakes on the market? If you are interested in protein products, feel free to check out my comparison guide here. This page is dedicated to all the protein products I’ve ever tried, and I keep it updated all the time!

Why bother? There are a tonne of reviews out there!

I agree, there are a whole load of reviews out there, especially as Sneak sponsors a load of influencers and a lot of their followers are really die-hard loyals, so it’s hard to get an honest opinion that isn’t somewhat tainted!

I follow Sneak drops and constantly try their products so that I can try and keep you as up to date as possible, but if you have followed me for a while, you will know that I will happily call out flavours that are not to my taste.

For transparency, as I am a Sneak gold member, and I was able to get hold of two tester portions at £2.

Sneak EATS Taste Test

Let’s get down to business. Just as a disclaimer, this is my opinion of this product, and taste is very subjective!

My initial reaction was that there was an unpleasant aftertaste. This is almost identical to the aftertaste that you get when drinking Slim-Fast. I don’t want to say chalky, but that is the closest thing I can relate it to. I think this is probably the aftertaste of the oats.

From trying both of these flavours and trying out different strengths, I can say that my preference in taste would be to mix 500ml of milk with half a serving of Sneak EATS. If you use water or follow the instructions of 250ml with a full serving, it is just undrinkable for me.

One of the warnings was that there are a lot of bits in the drink. There are, but this does not detract too much from the drink. I am fussy when it comes to textures, so if it was too much, I wouldn’t touch it!

So the below reviews might leave you a little bit deflated, but I have to say that most of the meal replacements out there have that same poor aftertaste, so Sneak Eats isn’t unique on that front. If you are used to meal replacements, then you will probably like this, but if you aren’t… It will take a lot of getting used to!

NameScoreComments
Strawberry6/10This score is based on using a half serving with 500ml of milk. I would score it 0/10 if I followed the instructions on the recommended serving size and used water. Overall, it wasn’t totally unpleasant, but I would probably stick to MyProtein because of the taste (even if it isn’t packed with as much goodness!)
Chocolate Brownie1/10This doesn’t taste anything like the traditional chocolate shakes that we know and love. I appreciate that taste is subjective and this has tried to replicate a brownie, but I had to pour this one away after two gulps. If you are going to try this product, stick to the strawberry!

Sneak EATS vs MyProtein

MyProtein tastes much better, is a lot smoother, and is cheaper than Sneak EATS

Sneak EATS vs ESN

This isn’t really a contest. ESN’s products blow Sneak EATS out of the water. They taste fantastic, are smoother and more cost-effective. Disappointed in Sneak with this product.

Sneak EATS vs SlimFast

Sneak and SlimFast taste very similar and costings is very similar. Sneak would be the better choice, however because it is packed with a truckload of nutrients.
