This page exists for one simple reason: I got tired of marketing nonsense.
A few years ago, I created a page on this site because I was curious about powdered energy drinks. I wasn’t planning on starting a review section of the site, I wasn’t chasing affiliate money, I literally made some comparison tables for myself so I could remember what was worth buying when I was out and about at the shops.
To my surprise… people actually cared about the reviews and the way that I worded what I thought about them!
Since then, these no-BS reviews have helped over 50,000 people avoid hype, skip the snake oil, and choose products that are genuinely better, not just BS marketing to trick you into handing over your hard-earned cash.
I don’t do paid hype (although I do sometimes offer referrals, but not always for money, I get loyalty points too!). I don’t pretend everything is amazing. And if something’s rubbish, I’ll say so, even if it costs me a commission (there are some brands out there that are VERY angry with me).
That trust is something I take seriously. It’s honestly humbling that people come here to make buying decisions, and I’m grateful every time someone messages to say, “That saved me money” or “Glad I read this first.”

Some pages started as personal notes. Some turned into deep dives. All of them are written the same way, me talking to myself (and you), like a normal human, so that I (we) can remember what was good and what was sh*te.
