M.U.S.C.L.E. (Millions of Unusual Small Creatures Lurking Everywhere) Men are a line of small, collectible toys that gained popularity in the 1980s.
M.U.S.C.L.E. Men were created by the Japanese toy company Yudetamago and initially released as a line of keshi-style figures in Japan called “Kinnikuman.” The concept was based on a popular manga and anime series known as “Kinnikuman” (which translates to “Muscleman” in English). The American version, M.U.S.C.L.E. (pronounced “muscle”), was introduced by Mattel in 1985.
