With Martial Arts films still in their prime, Double Dragon arguably started the golden age of beat em ups in arcades and consoles. Double Dragon graced out arcades in 1987 and rolled out to a whole load of consoles after that (they even made a movie!).
I remember playing this game on the NES at a friend’s house and we would call the bulky bad guys ‘Honey Monsters’ after the sugar puffs monster (Ohh how kid’s minds work!).
