For me, Crystal Warriors will always hold a special place. I got a Game Gear and a load of games and didn’t put it down for weeks! I actually played Crystal Warriors so much that the console started smoking (not joking). I was gutted when it finally gave up the ghost!
Crystal Warriors is a turn-based fantasy game released exclusively on the Sega Game Gear. The gameplay reminds me of the Fire Emblem games. You assemble a party of up to nine units to engage in battles throughout each level. TYou start on one side of the map, with an enemy force occupying a castle on the opposite side. To win the battle and move onto the next stage, you must either defeat all of the enemies or strategically move a unit onto the enemy castle entrance.
