If you have found this page, you are probably looking for purchase Outbreak energy powder!
I didn’t know about outbreak until I got a marketing email with a tub on sale for really, really cheap, so I thought I would take a pop at it, so that I could add it to my main review page for you. You won’t find a more cost-effective product on the market (It only cost me a tenner for the tub!).
I do however have some bad news for you… The company has went out of business and you are no longer able to get this brand. For old times sake, I’ve included my initial reviews of the products at the bottom of this page so that you could see what it tasted like and how I would rank it.
If you are still interested in powdered energy drinks and don’t want to wade through the BS ads and fake influencers that peddle all the crap of the day, check out my ultimate review guide to powdered energy drinks here. I will always be completely honest and don’t care if I offend a company by criticising them (they just need to do better!)
If you are new to powdered energy drinks and want to know everything there is to know, I’ve also put together a complete starter guide to give you a hand. If you have any questions, just let me know!
Taste: 6/10 | The taste will grow on you, nothing to write home about, but not bad. |
Effectiveness: 6/10 | 125mg Caffeine per serving – I didn’t get as much energy from this as I did from other brands, unfortunately (I took double what it says on the tub too!) |
Price: 10/10 | You can usually get this from Amazon and other online retailers cheaply. I got the tub for £9.99 with 40 servings! That’s only 25p per serving! No samples are available. |
Grittiness: 7/10 | I didn’t tase any grittiness or chalky textures while drinking, except for at the very end after leaving it for a while, there was a little bit. Given how cheap the product is, I’m surprised at how well it performs in this area. |
Range of Flavours: 4/10 | Only a handful of flavours to try. |
Marketing: 8/10 | They are a little cheesy, but… I like cheesy! They are Gaming and post-apocalyptic themed, which scores them decently on the marketing front. |

FPS Nuka Fruit | 6/10 | I must admit, at first taste, I was not sold on this. It wasn’t what I was used to, but it did start to grow on me! I took two scoops with 600ml of water. Nothing to write home about, but nicer than some flavours from more established brands! |
FPS Caustic Cola | 6/10 | Must like the Nuka Fruit, the single scoop is very weak and I needed two scoops. This cola isn’t a strong tangy flavour like the other variants available, but does the job in a pinch. |
FPS Battleground Berry | 7/10 | Much like most of these flavours, they aren’t up there with the best of the bunch, but are acceptable in a pinch. This flavour is sherbert/candy flavour, which is probably the nicest of the three flavours available. |
